Christening Photography in Sligo
Recently I had the pleasure of capturing a truly special christening in Sligo. The day began at the family’s home, where I documented some relaxed, heartwarming moments as the proud parents prepared their baby boy for his big day. I always love photographing those natural, at-home moments — little details like the baby’s tiny outfit being buttoned, laughter during playtime, and of course, their lovely dog who couldn’t help but join in!
St. John’s Parish Church in Carraroe
We then travelled to St. John’s Parish Church in Carraroe, where extended family and friends were waiting. It was a beautiful setting for the baptism ceremony, and I made sure to capture the key moments: the blessing, the holy water, and the joy on everyone’s faces as the baby was welcomed into the faith.
After the ceremony, we stayed for some family portraits at the altar and outside the church. With the sun shining down, it was the perfect backdrop for some natural, timeless images of this special milestone.
