Michelle and Richard chose Temple House in Sligo as their wedding venue. See their wedding story told through my lens.
The romantic Temple House wedding of Michelle and Richard
No matter where you go, you will always carry a bit of your city in your heart. That’s what made Michelle come back to Sligo to tie her knot with Richard. They are both settled in Edinburgh but chose to be near their roots and immortalize their wedding by following their tradition. As their wedding photographer, I got a chance to know this lovely couple and document their romantic wedding held at Temple House.
Temple House real wedding of Michelle and Richard
Temple House is a Georgian manor, a luxury country house with mind-blowing views. The perfectly manicured meadows with the surrounding woods make the perfect location for an outdoor wedding.
We were so impressed with the magnificent manor that we began the album with sweeping views of the towering building and its parkland.
Let’s meet Richard now – our handsome, cool, and funny groom. He looked attractive in a kilt. All the groomsmen in the traditional attire made a striking appearance. I have taken plenty of photos of the good-looking men.
Are you getting impatient to meet the bride? Here is Michelle, having fun with the girl gang. She wore a pretty white wedding gown for the occasion. I have also taken shots of the wedding accessories and the lovely bouquets from The Flower Shed. How do parents react when they see their little girl in her wedding outfit? The expression on the face of Michelle’s father says it all. I was lucky to capture that shot.
A romantic outdoor wedding at Temple House Sligo
Have a look at the Temple House wedding venue. The decoration was simple but elegant. Since the weather was fantastic, Michelle and Richard decided to go for an outdoor wedding. They had an informal and private wedding in front of their close relatives and friends. When Michelle walked in with her father, everybody stood up to greet them. It was a warm gesture, and as Sligo wedding photographer, I have captured this timeless scene.
After the ceremony, I captured the newlywed couple along with their friends. Their pet dog also joined the guests and happily posed for me. The brides’ women and groomsmen were most willing to document the event. Together, they gave us some beautiful shots.
The lovely weather with plenty of sunlight helped us to take photos without any filter. Through these photos, we have imprisoned the emotions that made the day so special.
Michelle and Richard decided to spend some time together. As they roamed inside the parks, I followed them to take some intimate shots. Quite candid, these snaps portray the lovely bond that the two share. They got in a playful mood and wore sunglasses. I have even captured these funny moments.
I wanted to immortalize the Temple House wedding with a few classic shots. So, I have taken a couple of photos of them in portrait style inside the lavishly decorated rooms of the manor.
Michelle and Richard look so happy in these shots. I wish the couple a happy and prosperous married life.
