Markree Castle Sligo Wedding

Markree Castle Sligo Wedding of Paige and David – a magnificent saga of love and dedication

Here is a heart-warming love story of Paige and David. Truly, a wedding is a once in a lifetime event and should be celebrated like a fairy tale. Paige and David did that in the Markree Castle and I, the wedding photographer Sligo was a part of the whole event.

The destination: wedding venue Markree Castle – a royal affair

David and Paige stay in the USA but wanted to tie the knot in Ireland, David’s home country. Their American relatives and friends got a taste of Irish beauty and hospitality at this destination wedding. For the Irish relatives of David, it was a nice day out.

The Markree Castle, one of the best castle wedding venues in Sligo, was the perfect choice for this close and personal destination wedding. Recently renovated, this historic castle with sprawling gardens, lavish suites, and breath-taking views stole the heart of the foreign guests. They had a lovely time here, relaxing, enjoying the Irish landscape and being part of the gala wedding.

The wedding album of David and Paige has some awesome photos of the property. The towering structure, the landscaped gardens, and the richly decorated rooms, we were so happy to film them through our cameras.

Paige and David – a couple smitten with each other

Paige and David had a long courtship before they tied the knot. They planned their wedding meticulously and enjoyed themselves too. Paige chose a daisy dress by Jenny Packham which accentuated her curves and made her look gorgeous. The bridesmaids were in dark-coloured dresses. They chose dresses that suited them and presented a nice visual for us.

There were 16 children present at the wedding who added a lot of colour and enjoyment to the event. The wedding was a small affair which was held on the landing in the main hallway, amidst the cheer and blessings of the loved ones.

We have organized the wedding album of Paige and David with all the key photos taken on that day. Some of these photos are in black and white to gel with the ambience of the place. I believe that when it comes to capturing the real emotions behind a scene, black and white photos are the best option. Check these photos and let us know how you feel.

There were music, a romantic first dance and a lot of fun. The guests enjoyed the wedding. They were bowled over by the service of the staff of the castle. The dinner deserves special mention.

As wedding photographer Sligo, I feel blessed to be a part of this warm celebration. I wish Paige and David a lifetime of love and joy.
